That happened to me once when I sorta got personal with a FP author.

And I was actually Ballabanned for a few days.....

also, jalopnik subblogs are not the same as jalopnik.

example a The garage might be shared to the FP, and you might not be followed there like you are in jalopnik.

Are we supposed to request to be un-grayed on subblogs or something? I frequently post coherent and intelligible comments on Lanesplitter and get grayed out, but then I see people posting total garbage and their posts are never pending.

I was very close to abandoning this site before I got ungreyed. ive never seen another website that makes it so difficult to interact. same goes to oppo. t used to cause me intense stress and frustration

Remember how Jesus Diaz used to go ban hammer on everyone who disagreed with him? They still do that on his sub blog when people call out theft.

Automotive news has been lacking lately anyway. The old car ads and other stuff are mildly interesting but I’m starting to really miss the updates and auto news on Jalopnik. I’ve been hitting other sites lately for more solid information on the cars I’m interested in. Jalopnik used to be quicker and sharper for than any other site for interesting auto news, for the last year or so it seems like they have been focusing more on the hipster culture side.

It’s kind of sad to leave Jalopnik, especially since I’ve been commenting since the Ray days and when Project Car Hell was a regular thing. Heck, I used to email back and forth with Matt Hardigree when he started. I’ll keep on hanging around for now but I’m definitely losing interest.

I remember Jesus posting military stuff with such a liberal spin on it. If you called him out on it, it would ruffle his feathers. Tyler does such a damn good job with Foxtrot Alpha. His conclusions can be off sometimes but his info that he posts is great.
